This is a cataract-forward comprehensive ophthalmology role with an established, multi-location private ophthalmology group (corporate support included), known for a collegial culture and unusually strong physician retention. The clinic runs like a well-oiled machine: scribes handle documentation so physicians can stay focused on patient care, not keyboard time.
The position is open due to planned succession: the current physician is glaucoma-heavy and will begin scaling back in September 2026, with full retirement planned for May 2027. The team is hiring now to ensure a smooth ramp, protect surgical access, and capture unmet cataract demand.

Financial Package
Base Salary
$450K–$475K + 35% collections

$700K+

Requirements
- • Board Certified / Board Eligible Ophthalmology
- • Strong cataract surgical capability (this is the core need)
- • Strong clinical judgment + patient communication (high-volume only works when quality stays high)
- • Open to early-career or experienced candidates
- • Team-oriented; culture fit matters
