The Opportunity

We're seeking a visionary Director of Opthalmology to spearhead the development of a brand-new, comprehensive Vision service line with a profitable, non-profit hospital.

As the primary provider in a region currently lacking local, full-time ophthalmology coverage, you will have the unique opportunity to build a sustainable practice from the ground up and capture significant patient volume currently migrating to out-of-state markets.

You will have the full support of the hospital along the with the autonomy to build the service line. You'll help choose the equipment and staffing necessary to create a team where providers are thrilled to come to work every day, and patients are recieving unmatched care they don't have to travel for. The environment is collaborative with a modern tech stack including Meditech Expanse and AI Scribe technology.
